Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients, assesses physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs; plans and implements a plan of care with appropriate nursing interventions for the age population served; assesses educational needs of patient/families and implements teaching strategies; evaluates care and documents nursing care in the medical record; provides delegation and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers; administers medications and treatments as prescribed; promotes a clean and safe environment of care with emphasis on privacy and confidentiality; adheres to Standards of Conduct; night shift 7p-7a with rotating holidays/weekends; unit: TELEMETRY MEDICAL IP NURSING; required to be licensed as an RN in Illinois or eligible; CPR certified; full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certified
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice Act
