Job Summary
Conduct medical assessments, brief histories, and care coordination for all clients admitted to the Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center, including adults, youth, and children. Evaluate withdrawal symptoms using established screening tools, coordinate medication delivery with pharmacy, and document all received medications while monitoring self-administration and withdrawal protocols. Refer clients for required internal and external medical services, provide health education, and assure compliance with prescribed regimens. Complete timely clinical documentation in the EHR, file client charts, and manage medical supply inventory. Requires NYS RN license with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), knowledge of psychiatric disorders and chemical dependency, and bilingual Spanish/English skills. In-person role at S:US.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's required
- NYS RN license
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Assessment and case management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Master's in Nursing preferred
