Job Summary
Provide holistic, patient-centred care to approximately 1,700 individuals in a correctional healthcare setting within Clarence Correctional Centre. Work across a rotating roster to deliver primary healthcare, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff, and support rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes in a fast-paced, structured environment. Key duties include delivering essential nursing care, maintaining ethical, patient-centred care, and complying with medical, police, and drug & alcohol checks. Requires current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, minimum 2 years post-graduate experience, and a background in primary health, emergency, rural, or similar settings.
