Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to inform personalized care strategies for patients in the Senior Behavioral Health unit. Lead therapeutic interventions through group therapy sessions and actively participate in team conferences to refine interventions addressing age-related and clinical needs. Evaluate real-time patient responses to adjust nursing plans and ensure interventions remain purposeful and responsive to evolving status. Requires Kansas RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma. Day-shift PRN schedule at Ascension Via Christi St Joseph in Wichita, KS.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Professional licensure at time of hire
