Job Summary
Conduct daily scrub duties across all shifts covering a 7-day rotating roster within the Theatre Scrub Scout department at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. Participate in the on-call roster as time progresses while maintaining current Nursing Registration with AHPRA. Deliver high-quality patient care in a team environment using evidence-based practice across operating theatres, cardiac catheter laboratories, and the intensive care unit. Maintain excellent communication skills focused on customer experience and patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire, commitment and passion continue their practice within the Scrub Scout Perioperative Team
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Working-With-Children Check
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
