Job Summary
Deliver exceptional patient-centred care across both scrub and scouting personas, ensuring seamless theatre operations and strict adherence to ACORN standards. Collaborate with surgeons and anaesthetists to anticipate surgical needs, maintain impeccable sterile fields, and advocate for patient safety during the perioperative journey. Manage complex instrumentation and coordinate the circulating environment while maintaining strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Work a 7-day rotating roster in an acute hospital Orthopaedic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses)
- 2 years minimum current acute hospital Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- The flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster
- Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
