Job Summary
Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in an acute setting. Delivers holistic care and patient/family education; develops and coordinates a care plan incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Builds collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare providers; ensures PHI privacy and adheres to policies and regulations. Requires RN license with state where care is provided and BLS; typically 2 years of relevant experience. We offer part-time evenings with variable weekend requirements in Sacramento under Sutter Health.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing OR RN license evidences completion of a RN program
- RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 2 years of recent relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to communicate and engage with patients and families
- Prioritize assignments within standardized policies and procedures
