Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. Maintain basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Hold a Florida Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and ACLS certification. Complete background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. This role supports the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe within an acute clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN)
- Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL Registered Nurse License
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
