Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care, from preventative health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings and obtain required department certifications. Requires an accredited nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred) and unencumbered RN license. Weekly hours are 36.00 at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
