Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of care. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate treatment for patients in preventative, diagnostic, and follow-up phases. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. This 12-hour night shift requires 36 weekly hours at Bismarck Med Ctr, with a stipend included in the weekly pay rate. Candidates must have at least one year of experience and six months of travel history, living 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
