Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative services, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise for age and population specific settings. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living at least 60 miles from Bismarck, ND. Night shifts of 12 hours with a weekly schedule of 36 hours. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
