Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients across the continuum of care. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and coordinate care, while managing patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions. Ensure practice aligns with the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure, and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and complete required department-specific competencies. Live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN, and work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 weekly hours. Contracts span 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
