Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes across the continuum of care. Manage patient assessment, triage, education, and preventative health maintenance while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Perform various nursing interventions within the full scope of expertise designated for the assigned clinical setting. This 12-hour night shift position at Bismarck Med Ctr requires a minimum of one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live at least 60 miles from the location. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
