Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatments, and coordinate patient assessments and education. Manage triage and various nursing interventions across the continuum of care, from preventative health to diagnosis and follow-up, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accept pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
