Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatments, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards while coordinating care for patients in preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic phases. This 12-hour night shift position requires 36 weekly hours and at least one year of RN experience, including six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available for extension.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
