Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinating patient assessment, triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Maintain licensure and department-specific certifications as required by the Nurse Practice Act and state standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
