Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative health, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Perform various nursing interventions within the full scope of expertise for assigned clinical settings. Requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and residence within 60 miles of Bismarck, ND. Offers 14-week contracts with weekly pay including stipend and Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
