Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage and education across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to state licensure and the American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific care while supporting preventative health, diagnosis, and follow-up for patients in all phases. This 12-hour rotating shift role at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available for extension.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
