Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Manage patient care in all phases of diagnosis and treatment, adhering to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications throughout the 14-week contract term.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
