Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care across all phases from preventative maintenance to follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure standards, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Manage the full scope of nursing expertise within the assigned clinical setting at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo, ensuring compliance with age and population-specific standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
