Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Manage patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and live location within 60 miles of Bismarck, ND. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations totaling 36 weekly hours with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
