Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care, from preventative health maintenance to diagnosis and follow-up, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Live at least 60 miles from Bemidji Medical Center and work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly. This travel role offers a 14-week contract with stipend inclusion and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
