Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, manage triage, and deliver patient education while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. This rotating shift role requires 36 weekly hours and offers a starting rate of $3010 with a 14-week contract option. Candidates must possess at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accepts pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
