Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care across the continuum. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Manage patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up within the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. Requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours on night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
