Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage patient assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, and follow-up across the continuum of care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. This rotating 36-hour weekly role requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel history. Candidates must live 60 miles from the location and hold an unencumbered RN license. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
