Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state practice acts and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This 12-hour rotating shift role at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live within 60 miles of the location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available for extension.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
