Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage care across the continuum from preventative health to diagnosis and follow-up while adhering to state practice acts and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. This travel staffing role requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with applicants living 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend, and eligible staff receive Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
