Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient assessment, triage, and education across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards while addressing preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Maintain competency through required certifications and function according to state licensure and departmental competencies. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and live location within 60 miles of Bismarck, ND. Offers 12-hour night shifts with 36 weekly hours, a $3,010 weekly rate including stipend, and 14-week contracts with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
