Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
