Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative measures, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. This travel RN role requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Weekly pay includes stipends, and eligible employees receive Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
