Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patient interventions across the continuum of care, from preventative health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
