Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage patient assessment, diagnosis, and follow-up across preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a starting rate of $3010 weekly for weekend shifts at Worthington Medical Center. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Weekend only contract working every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Night contract working 7:00pm-7:30am with two out of three weekends
- Variable shifts contract working 7:00am-7:30pm, 3:00pm-3:30am or 7:00pm-7:30am with two out of three weekends
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
