Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Manage patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and age-specific standards for your assigned clinical setting. Live at least 60 miles from the Bemidji, MN location and possess at least one year of experience with six months of travel experience. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly at Bemidji Medical Center. Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen
- Accept pre-employment background screening
