Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative measures, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and age/population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. This 12-hour night shift role requires 36 weekly hours and at least one year of RN experience with six months of travel experience. Applicants must live at least 60 miles from the location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available for extension or other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
