Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up. Perform patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care while maintaining competency within the full scope of nursing practice and state licensure standards. This 12-hour night shift role at Bismarck Med Ctr requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen
- Accept pre-employment background screening
