Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage the full continuum of care across preventative, diagnostic, and treatment phases while adhering to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. This travel role requires at least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with rotating shifts totaling 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
