Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients across the continuum of care. Manage patient assessment, triage, patient education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Deliver preventative care, health maintenance, and follow-up services within the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. Maintain required department competencies and certifications, working a rotating 36-hour weekly shift with a starting rate of $3010. Live at least 60 miles from the location and possess at least one year of RN experience including six months of travel experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
