Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of care. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate treatment for patients in preventative, diagnostic, and follow-up phases. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings while ensuring compliance with state licensure and departmental certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
