Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care and perform patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards while utilizing the nursing process to ensure safe, ethical care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accept pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
