Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage care across all phases of the continuum, including preventative health, diagnosis, and follow-up, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Deliver services in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborns units at Worthington Medical Center. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel history, and residence within 60 miles of the facility. Contracts span 14 weeks with weekend or night shift options, including a weekly pay rate of $3010.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen
- Pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
