Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice and state standards. Manage patients in all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, and follow-up as they move through the assigned clinical setting. This 12-hour rotating shift role at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from the location. Contracts span 14 weeks with options to extend or transfer to other Sanford sites, and weekly pay includes a stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
