Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage. Manage patient care across the continuum of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option. Live at least 60 miles from the location and hold at least one year of RN experience including six months of travel experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
