Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage care across the continuum of health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up while adhering to state practice standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency through required certifications and operate within the full scope of nursing expertise in an underserved community setting. Live at least 60 miles from the location and hold an unencumbered RN license. Offers include a 14-week contract option, weekly pay with stipend included, and Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accepts pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
