Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatments, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise while adhering to state licensure rules and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Manage patient care phases including preventative services, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and residency at least 60 miles from Bismarck, ND. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
