Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Maintain licensure and adhere to state practice standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work 36 hours weekly at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND, with a starting rate of $2,758. Requires an accredited nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred) and an unencumbered RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
