Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license and preferred Bachelor's degree. Located at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND, with 36 weekly hours at a starting rate of $2,758.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
