Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage. Manage the full continuum of care from preventative health maintenance through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
