Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and state practice standards. Manage patients in all phases of care, adhering to the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from Bemidji, MN. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
