Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions according to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This role requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from Bemidji, MN. Shifts are 12 hours rotating with 36 weekly hours, paid weekly with a stipend included. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
