Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license, accredited nursing degree, and 36 weekly hours at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo, Fargo, ND.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
